Cordula Strunz

Cordula has been a dedicated Montessori professional for over 20 years. She completed her casa, lower and upper elementary teacher training at Toronto Montessori Institute, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Toronto. Cordula has taught children from two to 13 years of age, in Montessori schools in Ontario and British Columbia. She has also taught adults as a Montessori elementary teacher trainer and examiner. For almost a decade, Cordula was Principal at a Montessori school in Toronto, where she worked closely with children, parents and staff in creating a dynamic, positive learning and growing environment.

Cordula volunteered for the Canadian Association of Montessori Teachers (CAMT) for six years, organizing workshops and conferences which contribute to the growth and cohesion of the Montessori community across Canada. She regularly takes up professional development opportunities, and enjoys enhancing her skills while engaging in reflective practice with colleagues.

Cordula’s approach with children and parents is founded on mutual respect and confidence in the richness and power of collaboration. She is equally passionate about arts and sciences and enjoys learning alongside her students, whose ideas and discoveries continue to delight and inspire her. Cordula delights in the brilliance of the Montessori philosophy, and enjoys sharing its many nuances with parents and colleagues – she looks forward to meeting you and your children!
