He received his Masters Degree in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario. After years of professional writing, he decided that working with and teaching children was something he wanted to explore.
He received his AMI diploma eighteen years ago and after teaching students ages 6 to 9 for over ten years became the Elementary principal. Michael has been the Chairman of the Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators and has been on their Board for several years.
CCMA works very closely with the Ministry of Education and he has certainly learned a great deal from this experience.
